capes galore

So, I've finally gotten some time to knit and so far I've finished up 2 capes from the Rowan 38 magazine . The first cape is made with tweed and mohair and has a really great pattern of dashes all over it. The second is a red turtlenck with a diamond pattern going across it. I can't wait to finish both of them.

Oh, and sorry about the weird formatting ... still haven't figured out the whole picture formatting thing yet.

Wow! I plan on making 'Miss Marple' at some point and can't wait to see how yours is turning out. Are you using the original colors/yarn?

Hey Steph!

I'm using the same colors as in the magazine, but I am not using Rowan yarns because of my college student budget :( For the mohair I'm using Katia Ingenua but not doubled since it's thicker. And for the tweed, I am using Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool. Can't wait to see pics of yours once you start it!
