So, this is my first blog entry and I'm not quite sure what to say. I've always wanted a blog, and it's nice to finally have one. After going on Craftster, I got really inspired when I saw the knit aviator cap that was used for a 1920's halloween costume. So, I decided to make my own version of it. I added pearl beads to give the hat more of a vintage feel, and I think it came out pretty good!

I've had that pattern bookmrked for ages and ages, but have never felt I had a sufficiently large block of time to devote to working on it.

No, it really is a pretty quick knit. It only took me two days to make. You should make one, it's a great pattern!
